Purpose Statement

  • To contribute towards the effective functioning of a Product Line through:
    • Documenting, monitoring and maintaining data flows between internal and external parties or suppliers within the Product Line, ensuring data quality, integrity and availability of data in line with service level agreements.
    • Proposing enhancements, updates and continuous improvements to dataflows where necessary.
    • Reporting on operational data flow activities.

Experience

Minimum:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an IT or Data administrator role.
  • At least 1 year of data programming experience.
  • Proven experience in systems engineering and implementations.

Ideal:

  • 2+ years’ experience in an IT or Data administrator role.
  • 1+ years of data programming experience 
  • Experience in data services on a cloud platform like AWS and Azure
  • Experienced in:
  • Data visualisation (Power BI) 
  • Dimensional modelling 
  • Kimball methodology 

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology – Computer Science or Information Technology

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology – Computer Science or Information Technology

Knowledge

Minimum:

Must have detailed knowledge of:

  • System architecture (technical design and implementation processes), database analysis, design & administration, technical test plan design.
  • IT systems development Processes, systems engineering, programming, application development, standards and governance.
  • SQL
  • Data engineering and analytics.
