Job Advert SummaryRand Water is looking for a Payroll Administrator to execute payroll payment process by managing the processes and procedures of the Payroll Section to achieve the payroll objectives. Liaise with payroll staff in performing their daily tasks, ensure that deadlines for payroll are achieved. Processing of the monthly payroll to achieve accurate, timely and compliance payroll net payments and third party payments. Processing of advance payments and co-ordination of month-end procedures also forms part of this job function.
Minimum RequirementsB Com Degree or equivalent finance degreeAdded Advantage: Payroll Administration Diploma or equivalent5 Years working experience in an in-house environment5 Years SAP experience in a payroll environmentComputer literacy in SAP and MS Office Suite 
Primary DutiesMeet deadlines in respect of payment of monthly salaries to staff of Rand Water.Processing of manual payments.Ensuring that Payroll staff complies with documented procedures.Reconciliation of salary advance account ensuring recovery of advances and correct allocation of costs with the live payroll process.Perform electronic uploads of bulk deduction transactions into the payroll system ensuring correct deduction from salaries.Preparation of payments, in respect, of Third parties ensuring correct payment to third party clients.Prepare batch-input files for bulk allowance and deduction transactions to be processed with monthly payroll processing.Assist in the SARS year end reconciliation and printing of the tax certificates.
