Generic Minimum Requirements:
Applicant must display competency in the post-specific functions of the post;
Be in possession of a Senior Certificate (Grade 12) and an applicable three
year Diploma / Degree registered on the National Learner Record
Database on at least a NQF 6 level;
Be proficient in at least two official languages, of which one must be

Applicant must have a three year Diploma / Degree registered on the
National Learner Record Database on at least a NQF 6 level in Bachelor of
Commerce/ Bachelor’s degree in policing/ LLB / BA Laws with at least zero
to two (0-2) years relevant experience in the field of the post.
Investigation of serious economic related crimes through the multi-
disciplinary case planning approach by conducting legal research on
cases and compiling investigation plans;
Ensue that investigations are court driven;
Ensure and maintain effective use of the CAS System;
Ensure efficient and effective case docket management;
Maintain good relations with internal and external role players;
Managing of the physical and human resources allocated to the Group,
taking financial management, treasury regulations on expenditure and
the MTEF into consideration;
Assist and support in the administrative functions of the unit.

medical examination and found to be medically fit. They will further
have to comply with the prescripts on the SAPS Dress Order, whereby

undergo training as prescribed by the National Commissioner.
