Maintaining stock levels at optimum and within departmental budget to enable business continuity. Maintaining store procedures at high standards. Ensure that all spares and equipment comply with SACAA, EASA and FAA regulations. Position outputs: • Oversee purchase and replenishment of goods in the Aviation department to ensure maintenance of stock levels; • Maintaining accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set TNPA standards and Aviation requirements; • Maintain inventory control system that promote cost reduction, shorter delivery lead times and reduce aircraft downtime; • Forecast of supply and demand of required aircraft stock to obtain information necessary for the continuity of Port operations;

Please report any suspicious activities in this regard to the Transnet anti-fraud line on 0800 003 056. • Process stock demand forms from AMEs and place orders promptly to ensure requested supplies are delivered on time; • Daily follow ups on outstanding demands and update Team leader daily on statuses of outstanding AOG requirements; • Submit an MPI outstanding requirements list daily during scheduled MPI’s in progress; • Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock management systems according to SACAA and TNPA requirements; • Packing, unpacking and stocking of shelves in accordance to SACAA and TNPA inventory standards; • Carry out quarterly Inventory checks; • Coordinate with service providers and delivery services to ensure all shipments are received and or dispatched on time; • Communicate any delays or unforeseen incidents immediately to Team Leader; • Maintain an accurate list of all outstanding requirements; • Ensure that an accurate (inbound/outbound) movement record of all spares, tooling and equipment that are transferred between bases are kept and updated daily; • Generate reports on inventory balance and shortages to ensure continued timeous replenishment of stock; • Carry out due list weekly ensuring parts / materials do not expire within stores and process according to MOP; •

Ensure that an inspection on all materials is carried out in accordance with organization procedures and sign suitable materials as serviceable into stock; • Ensuring that the quantity, order number and serial number correspond with the PO as applicable, and that no obvious damage has occurred on receipt; • Any defected component and discrepant part must be reported and processed according to the MOP; • Record the delivered item in the outstanding items list as received, ensuring that the part number and receiving documents correspond; • Ensuring that the corresponding purchase orders, the packing list, the invoice and any other relating documents are attached to the GRN and provided to the finance department; • Filing of all relevant Stores documentation in an orderly fashion on a daily basis; • Ensure repairable and scrap items are processed as per TNPA MPO; • Ensure that all materials are correctly certified as being unserviceable before being processed for dispatch; • Ensure that all chemicals and oil levels are monitored and replenished; • Ensure that all AOG orders placed immediately; • Communicate to the service provider who is responsible for the supply of spares and services to the aviation department; • Arrange shipment for all components and equipment to and from Port of operation through service provider; • Responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with Company Standards as laid out in the Manuals of Procedure and Occupational Health and Safety Standards. Qualifications & Experience: • Matric/Grade 12;

• Formal training in stock control/warehousing; • 1 – 2 years’ experience in stock control/warehousing; • Experience in an aviation company in a similar role will be an added advantage.
